Mission

PRAIDA aims to contribute to the well-being of asylum seekers and their families while respecting their rights and dignity. Its mission is to facilitate the settlement and integration of asylum seekers in Québec.

Welcome and support for newcomers

• Appointment with a social worker who will evaluate the needs and ensure the appropriate follow-up. Appointment with a nurse if necessary.

Legal information and assistance

Services for those whose request for asylum was denied.

Information and reference service

• requesting social assistance
• obtaining a work permit
• how to register children in school
• organizations that can hep you in your search for housing.

Interpretation and translation services

Services in both French and English. Interpreters may be available to assist in other languages.
